DIRECTIONS
 

The Mazatzal Hotel & Casino is located on the south end of Payson, Arizona on Highway 87, also known as the Beeline Highway. The 119,479 square foot casino is located on Tonto Apache Tribal land with beautiful views of the Mazatzal Mountains and the Mogollon (MUG-ee'ahn) Rim. Mazatzal Casino is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

From Phoenix
 

Coming from the South, Phoenix/Valley of the Sun, SR-87 is easily accessed via Country Club Drive in Mesa, the Loop 202, McDowell Road, or Shea Boulevard. The Mazatzal Hotel & Casino is about 90 miles from Phoenix in a picturesque drive.

 

Note: Coming from the south, once you pass the Verde River bridge there are NO gas stations until you reach the Mazatzal Hotel & Casino.

From the White Mountains
 

Coming from the East, SR 260 carries you from the White Mountains about 90 miles to its intersection with SR 87 in the heart of Payson. Turn south (or left) through town to the Mazatzal Hotel & Casino.

From Flagstaff
 

Coming from the North, Flagstaff & I-40, take I-17 South to Exit 287 (about 54 miles, you'll see a sign for SR-260, Cottonwood, Payson & AZ-89A) and turn left on SR-260 and continue to SR-87 (about 34 miles), turn right on SR-87 & follow it to Payson (about 26 miles). The Mazatzal Hotel & Casino is at the southern end of town, about 2 miles after you cross the SR-87 & SR-260 intersection.
